My expectations

Task 1. My expectationsEnglish has always been one of my favorite subjects. Therefore I’ve never given any doubts about my choice of choosing international English as one of my subjects this year.   Languages have always interested me, and I find it exiting to, not only learn the language, but to understand the people.  By that I mean that I by learning the language get more interested in learning their way of living, and their way of using their language: Their culture.

One day, I wish to travel. And since English is the world language, I have to be able to not just understand different versions of English. I also have to make myself understandable.

I’m a huge fan of films, and I prefer American movies. So I would say it’s an advantage for me who am taking international English.  Off course, I can find most off the movies with subtitles, but it’s a little sad being depended on it.

I must also say that I prefer to read books that are written in its original language, due to a bad translated version.

Because I understand English, My prospect of opportunities is a lot wider.
And if my expectations to the English curs this year happen, which I believe it will, even more opportunities will show up.  I expect that I learn to handle the English language better. I expect that I learn to write and talk, by using the vocabulary in a more wider prospect.

I have always been fascinated about people who speak English as they’ve never done anything else in their life before, without even being English, American or from any other English speaking country.
I have to admit that I envy them.  But who knows. Maybe after taking this course, my English will sound just as convincible?

It will demand a lot of hard work, but that’s also one of my expectations this year - towards myself. I' m going work on the things I may have trouble with, and don’t give until I get it. I’ll do my best.
